Man strangled his girlfriend and smashed TV screen

A MAN strangled his girlfriend after becoming angry when she asked him about money, before throwing a table into a television set.

He also took the victim's mobile phone and threatened to sell it so she wouldn't be able to call the police.

Corey Parker, 27, began arguing with his partner at their home in Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, on February 6 after the defendant had been to his mother's house to ask for money. Parker became angry and lost his temper when the victim asked him if he had managed to get any money.
