AC Morgan is facing a massive battle to break into the Lions Test team after he was left out of tomorrow's clash against ACT Brumbies.
The Wales captain was not among the 23 named by Andy Farrell to face Australia's strongest franchise, amid suggestions the Lions are using the clash as a dry run for the opening Test against the Wallabies.
Instead head coach Farrell has opted for Tom Curry at openside flanker, with Ireland's Josh van der Flier named among the replacements.
That would appear to be tough on Morgan, the only Welshman left on the tour after scrumhalf Tomos Williams was injured in the opening match Down Under.
