Export bill clears its first hurdle

A LAW change aimed at supporting UK businesses to export around the world has cleared its first hurdle.
-
The Industry and Exports (Financial Assistance) Bill received an unopposed second reading in the Commons.
If the Bill becomes law, it will update two previous acts concerning government support for business, with business minister and Rhondda MP Sir Chris Bryant saying they were focusing on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
