Montacute House may be more than four centuries old, but that hasn't stopped it from embracing modern technology - especially when it comes to cleaner, greener travel.

The National Trust property has installed eight electric vehicle (EV) charging bays in its car park, marking another step in the charity's drive to combat climate change.
The chargers - four rapid SO kW units and four 22 kW destination chargers - are powered by 100 per cent renewable energy. Payment is made via contactless card, with no need for an app.
