Thousands to hit streets as half marathon returns

THOUSANDS of runners are preparing to hit the roads of Cheltenham this weekend for a half marathon that will see road closures from 7am up to 2pm. Run Cheltenham takes place tomorrow and includes a 10K and a Community Mile run.

The race starts and ends at Cheltenham Racecourse and the route in and around the town is fully signposted and marshalled.

A number of roads will be closed, with motorists told not to leave their parked cars on the route.

Signs warning of closures have been in place on the route for weeks as residents and businesses were told what to expect on the day of the races.
