GERHARD Struber confirmed that Jason Knight was left out of Bristol City's matchday squad against Portsmouth in order to manage his load, with the Robins head coach clarifying the captain's situation after his side’s 1-0 win at Fratton Park, writes Daniel Carter.
Anis Mehmeti's sixth goal of the campaign proved to be enough for City to come out on top as they bounced back from their defeat to Wrexham in midweek.
Mehmeti rose well to steer his header from a Neto Borges cross beyond Nicolas Schmid.
