Stab victim named as suspects quizzed

THE man who was Killed in Bristol on Monday night has been named.

Leon Phillips, 47, suffered multiple stab wounds during an incident in the east of the city.
Detectives have been granted extra time by magistrates to quiz four people who were arrested in the wake of the crime.
Avon and Somerset Police had initially arrested seven people, but two men have been arrested on conditional bail and one has been released from custody and no action will be taken against him.
‘The Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT) launched a murder inquiry after the victim was fatally injured in Stapleton Road, near the junction with Trinity Road, between 10.45pm and 11pm on Monday.
