Rolls-Royce chief set for £100m-plus shares windfall

THE chief executive of Rolls-Royce is expected to collect a share-based windfall that could surpass £100m, following a transformation that has seen the engineering firm's market capitalisation soar.
Tufan Erginbilgic, who assumed control of the group at the beginning of 2023, was granted 8.3m shares as part of his recruitment package to lead the huge FTSE-100 firm.
At that point, this ‘golden hello’ equity package, which becomes available in two instalments in 2027 and 2028, was valued at slightly above £8m.
