'Disrespectful' airport obscured memorial behind cash machine

N airport has been criticised for hiding a memorial tribute to a landmine hero - behind a cash machine.

The plaque is dedicated to Christopher Howes - a former army engineer and mine clearing expert from Backwell, in North Somerset.
In 1996 Christopher was leading a team from the Mines Advisory Group to clear landmines in the Cambodian jungle. He and his interpreter Huon Hourth were kidnapped and murdered by Khmer Rouge guerrillas.
A plaque is dedicated to him at Bristol Airport - but was recently pictured on a wall with two cash machines in front of it.
