Bridgwater tighten grip in title race

JAMES Regan smashed 148 while Alex Russell and Jake Lintott took three wickets each as Bridgwater strengthened their grip on the West of England League Premier One race with a 200-run victory over title-rivals Thornbury, writes Keith Watson.
Batting first, Bridgwater crashed 380 for six from their 50 overs, Regan striking 23 fours in his 148, while Alex Eckland added 87.
Thornbury were shot out for just 180 in reply, Robbie O'Donnell top-scoring with 60, while Russell claimed three for 33 and Lintott, pictured, three for 52.
