George Nurse in the colours of Shrewsbury Town
CHELTENHAM Town have signed left-back George Nurse and also completed a permanent deal for front man Jake Bickerstaff.
Nurse joins having left fellow League Two side Shrewsbury, while Bickerstaff has been on loan to the Robins from Championship side Wrexham.
Former Bristol City man Nurse, 26, joined the Shrews in July 2021, when current Whaddon Road boss Steve Cotterill signed him amid some strong interest from Cheltenham.
He has 77 League One appearances to his name for the Shrews, despite injury setbacks during his time at Croud Meadow.
Nurse appeared in League Two on loan for Newport County and Walsall during his time at Bristol City, after initially gaining senior experience at non-League for Weston-super-Mare in 2018/19.
