A man in his thirties was arrested and has appeared before Bodmin Magistrates' Court.
Jarrod Westlake, aged 34, of no fixed abode but living in Falmouth, pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal damage in connection with the damage caused to the BT Openreach cables.
He was remanded in custody and will appears before Truro Crown Court on April 29 for sentencing.
The Falmouth Town Team and BT Openreach confirmed that the damaged cables were repaired before the Easter weekend, with its expected uptick in trade.
