Family company bought by South West waste reprocessing business

A FIRM specialising in the sustainable management of mineral waste now has a third site in Cornwall thanks to a new acquisition.

Recycle it Global (RIG) has bought CTC Waste (Chenoweth's Trading Company), which operates throughout Devon and Cornwall and has its base at Ruan High Lanes near Truro.
While RIG's core business is the reprocessing of construction, demolition and extraction waste (CDEW), material from marine dredging and mine spoil, including biological decontamination, CTC Waste deals with commercial waste from holiday lets.
"This strategic acquisition marks RIG's fourth operational facility, alongside RIG Scorrier, RIG Plymouth and RIG Newquay at St Eval," a company spokesperson said.
"CTC has earned a reputation as one of the region's most dependable independent waste transfer stations.
