CAPE BALLET AFRICA

- WEEKEND ARGUS REPORTER

IN AN enchanting blend of artistry and emotion, Cape Ballet Africa is set to unveil a compelling programme of short works, aptly named Intermezzo, at the intimate Drama Factory.

Running from 16 to 25 May, this production offers a gentle yet cathartic experience, showcasing the talent of a company that has quickly made a name for itself, following a spectacular debut at the Artscape Opera House earlier this year.

Intermezzo will take audiences on a journey through the heart of classical ballet, featuring the beloved compositions of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The programme will highlight exquisite pieces from iconic ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker.
