Monarch to tell Commonwealth: We can thrive together

THE King will tell the world that nations can resolve their differences by coming together as he delivers a message of hope on Commonwealth Day tomorrow.

Communities from 56 nations will mark the event, which this year celebrates the “enduring spirit of the Commonwealth family” with the message: “Together We Thrive.”

Head of the Commonwealth Charles – who last week met war-torn Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky – will recognise we are living in “uncertain times”.

But in his annual address, he will stress the importance of friendship and strength through unity.
