EVERTON playmaker Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has revealed his dream is to play for England.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed an excellent start on Merseyside, quickly becoming a key component in David Moyes’ new-look team since his summer move from Chelsea.

That form led to a surge in calls for the Republic of Ireland to convince him to commit to them during the most recent international break.

Those efforts are not new - Dewsbury-Hall grew up in Leicestershire but is eligible to play alongside Everton teammates Seamus Coleman and Jake O’Brien through his grandparents, and the Irish FA has courted him for years.
