THE fatcat chairman of a failing firm that is imposing a hosepipe ban is not short of water himself - his mansion is next to a Scottish loch.

Tomorrow nearly one million Southern Water customers join the millions banned from hosepipe use due to the dry weather.

Filling a paddling pool will not be allowed, but Southern chairman Keith Lough could take a dip in the loch next to his £1.25million, seven-bed Renfrewshire pile, which has a tennis court - and a sizeable pond - in its generously sized grounds.
