Saudis get their chequebook ready again as United midfielder returns to Brazil team. But new boss Ancelotti has made it clear-stay in the Prem if you want to go to World Cup

- SIMON MULLOCK

BIG-EARNING Brazilian star Casemiro is set to stay on at Manchester United next season after being offered a World Cup lifeline by Carlo Ancelotti.

Casemiro, who is paid a cool £350,000 a week, was handed a shock international recall when Ancelotti, his former Real Madrid boss, named his first Brazil squad earlier this month.

The 33-year-old midfielder is now targeting a place at the World Cup next summer in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

And the Old Trafford player has been convinced that his chances of appearing in a third World Cup finals will be dramatically enhanced by staying on in the Premier League.
