BJP to launch Parivartan Yatra ahead of Delhi Assembly polls

NEW DELHI The outcome of the Maharashtra Assembly elections has boosted the confidence of BJP leaders, who now believe they can replicate similar success in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
Despite performing well in Delhi during Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has struggled to gain ground in the state Assembly polls for decades.
However, the party is determined to oust the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Delhi government in the elections scheduled for mid-February to March 2025. Although the Election Commission of India has yet to announce the official election dates, the BJP has already launched its campaign. As part of its strategy, the Delhi BJP will initiate the Parivartan Yatra across all 70 Assembly constituencies, starting December 8, 2024, and continuing until December 20, 2024.
The Parivartan Yatra will be led by former NDMC Vice Chairperson Satish Upadhyay.
This initiative aims to highlight what the party describes as 10 years of misgovernance under the Kejriwal administration, accusing it of making false promises and failing to deliver on issues crucial to the people of Delhi.
