Sentosa hotel assisting police probe into guest's claim that $3,000 was stolen

Village Hotel Sentosa is assisting with police investigations after a claim of theft was made by a hotel guest on Oct 17.

In response to queries from The Straits Times, the police said on Oct 19 that it received a call for assistance at 10 Artillery Avenue at 1.35pm on Oct 17.

The address of Village Hotel Sentosa is 10 Artillery Avenue.

A 34-year-old woman is assisting with investigations for the offence of theft in dwelling, the police said, adding that investigations are ongoing.

The guest had written a post in Chinese on social media platform Threads at about 4.15pm on Oct 17, alleging that $3,000 in cash was stolen by a housekeeping staff member on Oct 17.
