PM Wong sends condolences to families of quake victims

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong sent his condolences to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr following an earthquake that struck northern Cebu on Sept 30.
A collapsed building where three people were found dead among the rubble in Bogo. The quake, which struck shortly after 11pm on Sept 30, has reduced several buildings, churches and houses to rubble, with residents now sleeping in makeshift shelters or under tarpaulins amid continuing aftershocks.

In a letter dated Oct 2, PM Wong said he was “deeply saddened to learn about the loss of lives and the widespread damage” caused by the earthquake.
