BTS star V pays for $13m Seoul luxury apartment in cash

SEOUL - K-pop megastar V from boy band BTS has purchased a luxury apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, for 14.2 billion won (S$13 million), according to South Korean news reports.

Real estate records show that the 29-year-old singer, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, completed the purchase of the 273.96 sq m residence at PH129 on Sept 17.
