It is part of Govt's plan to have 120 fast chargers at around 60 HDB carparks

- Lee Nian Tjoe

The development of the Republic's public charging network for electric vehicles (EVs) has continued apace with the deployment of 38 fast chargers in 19 publicly accessible carparks.

The latest of these chargers, which started operating on April 28, have been installed at Fajar Shopping Centre in Bukit Panjang and Taman Jurong Shopping Centre in Jurong West.

This completes the roll-out of a batch of fast chargers that started in November 2024 with the ones at the Woodlands Civic Centre.

The carparks are mostly in Housing Board-owned commercial properties, other than Revenue House, which is owned by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

They are found, among others, at 888 Plaza in Woodlands, Connection One in Bukit Merah, Dawson Place in Queenstown, Limbang Shopping Centre in Choa Chu Kang and Elias Mall in Pasir Ris.
