ISL 2024-25: Bengaluru FC visit Mohammedan SC, eye return to top spot

Bengaluru FC will aim to return to the top of the points table when they take on struggling Mohammedan SC at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Wednesday.

BFC are currently at the second spot on the ISL table with 17 points from eight matches. Table toppers Mohun Bagan are also on 17 points, but at the top spot due to a superior goal difference.

On the other hand, ISL newbies Mohammedan SC are struggling during their debut season in the top tier of Indian football. They have won just one of the seven matches they have played so far and will be eager to register their first home win on Wednesday.

Mohammedan SC are into their debut campaign in the top-tier, but they have faced three losses in their last five matches, along with a victory and a draw each.

Contrastingly, Bengaluru FC have bounced back strongly this season - winning five times and drawing twice, to accumulate 17 points from eight encounters and occupying the second place in the standings.
