State Women's Commission Starts Rape Awareness Campaign

In the wake of the alleged rape of a law student at the Kasba campus of the South Kolkata Law College, the West Bengal Commission for Women has embarked on an awareness programme on sexual assault and molestation cases as part of its mission.
The mission will also include workshops, where the Commission will tell students about the various laws against it and the rights of the survivors.
The programme formally kicked off at Murshidabad University on Saturday.
