India's ODI and Test skipper Rohit Sharma, who led the team to their second ICC T20 World Cup title last June, has been named captain of the ICC Men's T20I Team of the Year 2024.
The team dominated by Indians also features star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and left-arm quick Arshdeep Singh, along with all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
Rohit had a standout 2024, both as a leader and a batter. The seasoned opener amassed 378 runs in 11 matches at an impressive average of 42.00 and a strike rate of over 160. Rohit played a pivotal role in India's triumphant T20 World Cup campaign, with three half-centuries, including a sensational 92 against Australia in the Super Eight stage.
