Pandya returns to India's T20I outfit for SA T20Is

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya returned to the Indian setup after proving his fitness in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match on Tuesday. This was his first competitive outing since India's Super Fours fixture against Sri Lanka at the 2025 Asia Cup in September. He was forced to sit out the final against Pakistan due to an injury, which also saw him miss the Australia tour.
India's Test and ODI skipper Shubman Gill has also been added to the squad. But his participation is subject to fitness clearance from BCCI COE. Gill had suffered a neck sprain during the first Test against South Africa in Kolkata.
