CBSE Results: Girls Outshine Boys in Bengal

In West Bengal, over 86,000 students appeared for the CBSE Class X and XII exams combined, with girls comprising about 44 percent of the candidates
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared its Class X and XII results today with girls outshining the boys at country and state levels in the secondary and higher secondary examination this year.
According to the CBSE official data, in Class X, the overall pass percentage witnessed an increase by 0.06 percent as compared to last year. As declared by the CBSE board, girls have outshined boys by 2.37 percent. While the pass percentage of girls is 95, that of the boys is 92.63 percent, which is less than last year's figure of 92.71 percent.
