Bollywood stars Shreyas Talpade, Alok Nath among 22 booked in Baghpat financial fraud case

A cooperative society, endorsed by actors Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath, has been booked for fraud after allegedly collecting crores of rupees from locals here on the pretext of doubling their money.

Among the 22 people named in the FIR are Bollywood actors Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath, who were reportedly presented as brand ambassadors of the society, officials confirmed.

The case pertains to The Loni Urban Multi-State Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society, whose agents and officials are accused of duping hundreds of people by offering lucrative investment schemes.
