BJP to Form RSS-backed political analysis team for 2026 Bengal elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal is reportedly establishing a professional political analysis team, similar to Prashant Kishor's I-PAC, to bolster its electoral strategy for the 2026 Assembly elections.
The initiative, said to be backed by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will focus on analysing political trends, identifying governance failures, and strategising electoral campaigns for each Assembly constituency.
According to sources, this new team will align with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's Hindutva-centric approach and conduct ground-level surveys in economically weaker sections.
Previously, such surveys highlighted governance failures of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi, and now they will target the perceived "failures" of the ruling Trinamul Congress (TMC) in Bengal.
The data collected will shape the BJP's campaign narratives, particularly in areas where the party sees potential for electoral gains.
With just a year remaining until the crucial 2026 Assembly elections, political parties are intensifying their preparations.
