Sex Trafficking Victim in Critical Condition, Accused Duo Remain at Large

A 22-year-old woman from Panihati, West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district, remains in critical condition at Sagar Dutta Medical College and Hospital following months of alleged brutal physical and sexual abuse by an organized sex trafficking racket operating out of Howrah.
The primary suspects, Shweta Khan, alias "Phultusi," and her son Aryan Khan, both from Domjur in Howrah, are absconding despite allegations of running a sex racket under the guise of a production house.
According to the victim's mother and local sources, the young woman was lured with a job offer in an event management firm but was instead trafficked, coerced into sex work, and forced to participate in pornographic video production.
