THE United Arab Emirates' participation as a guest at the G20 Summit, hosted by South Africa in Johannesburg on November 22-23, reaffirms its global standing as an influential economic power that has achieved remarkable progress in new sectors such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and digital transformation.

The UAE joins the G20 Summit less than a month after taking part in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in the Republic of Korea.

The UAE's presence at the G20 demonstrates its longstanding approach of building bridges with nations across the world, following a strategic path that cultivates strong and growing ties with major global economic powers and leading international forums such as the Group of Seven (G7), BRICS, and APEC.

This approach underscores the UAE's commitment to multilateral international cooperation and its support for joint action to enhance global economic stability and address current challenges - especially in the areas of energy security, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence.
