Popular musician arrested for attempted murder

LIMPOPO musician Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, well-known as Shebeshxt, was arrested yesterday morning on two counts of attempted murder following a shooting incident in Polokwane last month, police confirmed.
According to Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the arrest took place at about 9:30am.
He was nabbed during an intelligence-driven operation in the upmarket suburb of Bendor, outside Polokwane.
"The arrest was executed through a joint operation between the Provincial Investigation Unit and the Provincial Tracking Team, following the issuance of a warrant of arrest linked to a case of two counts of attempted murder registered at Westernburg SAPS," Ledwaba said.
He added that the arrest of the Ambulance hitmaker stemmed from an incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, October 19, along Witklip Street in Ladanna, outside Polokwane.
