Outrage over viral video leads to arrest of high school learner for assaulting woman

A 22-YEAR-OLD high school learner has been arrested and charged after a viral video allegedly showing him assaulting a 21-year-old woman sparked outrage on social media and prompted swift police action in the Free State.
The arrest follows the circulation of disturbing footage in which the woman is allegedly confronted by occupants of a vehicle who accuse her of standing in the road and blocking their way. During the confrontation, the 22-year-old suspect is seen allegedly assaulting the woman.
