Nabi confident in Chiefs’ direction
The Star
|July 28, 2025
KAIZER Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi believes the Glamour Boys are steadily ticking the right boxes ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign, with defender Inacio Miguel now entrusted with leading the club into a new era.
The Tunisian tactician, now entering his second season at the helm, has stressed the importance of balance during the tail end of preseason.
Following an intense fitness programme and four friendlies in the Netherlands, the focus has shifted to polishing tactics and resolving structural gaps.
“Iam very positive we are going in the right direction,’ Nabi said with conviction, as preparations reach their final stretch before the league opener against Stellenbosch FC on August 10.
“We have done the physical work. Now we are in the last two weeks of the preseason. We know our negative points.
