Female focus: pursuing opportunity more

They put off applying for the bigger role, asking for the raise, investing in themselves or stepping into a room that feels one size too big.

A recent LinkedIn study found that women apply to 20% fewer jobs than men, despite being equally (or more) qualified. Why? Because they feel they need to meet 100% of the criteria before giving themselves permission to say yes.

I know this well, because I've felt it too. But that voice in your head telling you that you're not ready is a lie. A lie that leads you to decline invitations that could stretch, grow and connect you to what you deserve.

Earlier this year, I made a commitment to myself to say “yes” to more opportunities that serve me well, expand and nurture my network, and open up new possibilities. Here are three essential steps to help you say yes more:
