AUDI South Africa is embarking on a new journey with the appointment of Markus Schuster as the new country lead, effective September 2025.

Audi SA appoints new country lead

Schuster brings with him a wealth of experience, boasting over two decades in the global automotive arena across key markets including Germany, Italy and Singapore.

Most recently, he served as the managing director of Audi Singapore, where his innovative leadership transformed the subsidiary into Audi's inaugural direct-to-customer franchise globally. In his own words, Schuster expressed his enthusiasm for the role: “I feel honoured to take on the role of head of Audi South Africa. South Africa is not only Audi's biggest market on the continent but also offers a dynamic, sophisticated and challenging automotive landscape.

“I look forward to working with our local team to continue building Audi's presence and delivering progressive premium mobility solutions for our customers.”
