Thousands get flu jab at Royal Stoke

Service says sorry after more than 450 miss handover target on the same day
THOUSANDS of Royal Stoke staff have been vaccinated against flu.
Latest figures show 5,769 staff at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, which runs the hospital and Stafford’s County Hospital, have received the latest jab.
That compares with 3,753 workers jabbed in 2024/25. It comes as the Royal Stoke is in the grip of a ‘critical incident’ and rising flu cases.
