Robins wants to see reaction from his Potters players when they make Championship return with home date against West Bromwich Albion

- Peter Smith

MARK Robins insists Stoke City can park a 'majorly disappointing' performance in the Carabao Cup and continue their momentum in the Championship.

Robins made 10 changes to Stoke's starting lineup as they took on Bradford City in a second round tie on Tuesday, handing debuts to Maksym Talovierov and Chinoso Chibueze.

They were well-beaten, 3-0 by the League One side, and it was clear that players like Talovierov - who missed most of preseason with a niggling hamstring injury - needed game time to get up to speed.

Robins, who has overseen three wins in his first three Championship games, will now prepare his squad for a big match at home against West Brom on Saturday (12.30pm).

He said: "It's very disappointing but park it, that's all I can do. I have a hand to play and I chose to play that hand knowing it was going to be a difficult evening. I was hoping for more but I got what I deserved really.
