Stephan wants to continue learning with City challenge

QUEENS Park Rangers boss Julien Stephan is preparing for a huge, different challenge as he prepares his side for a clash with Stoke City.

QPR return to Loftus Road to host the Potters on Saturday having followed up a 7-1 defeat at Coventry with back-to-back 3-1 wins over Charlton Athletic and Wrexham.

Summer appointment Stephan didn’t go into specifics about what he expected from a Stoke team that has started with four wins out of five but rather it being another test on the ever-spinning Championship carousel of tests.

To that point, he mentioned ‘test’ four times in his answer to Radio London about Stoke and the division at his pre-match press conference. “This is a good test but | think we will have some tests each week, in fact,” he said.
