Potters secure services of forward Cisse but boss still wants more new faces in his City squad

- Peter Smith

ROBINS ISN'T FINISHED YET

MARK Robins is pleased with Stoke City’s transfer business as he adds Lamine Cisse and looks for one or two final additions to round off the summer.

Forward Cisse joins a rejuvenated strike department, while centre-half Maksym Talovierov joined in training on Thursday as he bids to come into contention to make his debut as quickly as possible, having missed a big chunk of preseason.

There are just over two weeks remaining in the window and Robins is still looking for more quality and depth.

Reports from Europe suggest continued interest in midfielder Tomas Rigo, who has helped Banik Ostrava reach the Europa Conference League playoff round.

Robins, who takes Stoke to crisis club Sheffield Wednesday today (3pm), said: “I’m pleased. We've obviously got limitations to what we can do but without a doubt we have maximised our ability to fund a rebuild or a change in the squad or refresh it or whatever you want to call it.
