Simkin is doing 'fantastically well' says Mark Robins, as the England youth keeper kept his fourth clean sheet in seven games since his emergency return to Stoke City.The 21-year-old had been summoned back from a loan at Leyton Orient following an injury to Viktor Johansson and then regained the gloves when new signing Gavin Bazunu injured his thigh in training.
He pulled off a superb save to keep out a deflected Daryl Dike shot that helped Stoke to a 0-0 draw with West Brom on Saturday and is now preparing for a Wednesday night trip to Charlton Athletic (7.45pm) to try to get back to winning ways.
