Council's warning to red light jumpers
RULE-BREAKING drivers across the city are being blamed for temporary lights always being on red - and threatened with police action for ignoring a road closure.
A section of Westport Road, in Burslem - between Market Place and Federation Road - has remained closed since Sunday's Wade Ceramics fire.
But drivers are ignoring the road closure and removing the barriers.
Now Stoke-on-Trent City Council has issued a warning to the rule-breaking motorists.
