'My mum was very passionate about family'
The Sentinel
|June 14, 2025
CYNTHIA Williamson's son Robert said organising his mother’s funeral was one of the toughest challenges the company had faced in its 98-year history.
-
Speaking before yesterday's ceremony, the 59-year-old said his aim was to give his mum the ‘send-off she deserves’. He said: “Funerals are our bread and butter, our way of life. It's just what we do. But it’s much different when you have that personal connection — and particularly when it’s your mother. Like the saying goes, you only get one mum.”
