Valiants aiming to continue their upturn in form with a third straight victory against Bradford
DARREN Moore achieved his objective of taking Port Vale to the third round of the FA Cup against Bristol Rovers and declared 'the performance was good.' His team return to League One action tonight as they take on Bradford City at Vale Park in another massive match.
Vale are desperate not to get cut adrift at the bottom of the table and Graham Alexander's City moved up to second in the table with a 1-0 win at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
The two cup wins, against Barnsley and Rovers will have boosted morale
The single goal from Ben Waine was enough for Vale to beat League Two Rovers and Moore told Port Vale TV: “We turned up with the one sole objective which was to get into the third round which we have achieved.
“The performance was good. There were probably moments in the game going forward where we would have capitalised more. But seeing the players have that willing spirit to try to get into the situations we wanted to get them into, that was really pleasing to see.
