CHECKLEY seconds are up and running in NSSCL Division One after a home victory over Moddershall & Oulton 2nd XI.
The Four Trees outfit won promotion at the end of last season, but has opened up life in their new surroundings with three straight defeats.
However, they sampled the winning feeling at the fourth attempt by seeing off the challenge of the Modd men.
Checkley took first use and managed to find their way to 203-7 from their 40 overs.
Openers Lorcan Potts and Adam Cottier set the tone by contributing 53 and 49 respectively.
