Seven-year-old now battling leukaemia
STOKE City fan Ollie Royles is facing the fight of his life - after being struck down with cancer for a second time.
The seven-year-old, above, was first diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in February 2024 after a tumour was found at the base of his spine.
The Crackley schoolboy was given the all-clear one year later - only to be told he has leukaemia again in June. Now Stoke City and friends of the family are rallying round to help keep Ollie and his loved-ones feeling positive during his latest health battle.
Family friend Dan Millward, who knows Ollie's dad Chris through football, said: "Ollie was fighting spinal cancer for a long time, but he finally finished his treatments and got to ring the all-clear bell this year.
"He even got to start going down to the Stoke games and enjoying himself. He was looking forward to having a relatively normal life again. But he started to fell unwell again soon after.
