DARREN Moore reckons the feelgood factor has been there in training at Port Vale ahead of tomorrow's visit to Bolton Wanderers in League One.

- Clive Youlton

The Valiants boss was speaking at the press conference ahead of the game and was asked to reflect on whether scoring five goals against Maldon & Tiptree has helped.

He said: "Yes, I think it’s good to get some goals, good to get that good factor back into training and to get another clean week of work for the players.

"Bolton is a completely different game to what we had in the cup match. We are back into the league and looking forward to it.

"The objective last week was to get into the second round of the FA Cup and the boys have achieved that. So the excitement of the FA Cup is there. We speak about nostalgia and excitement and what an important competition it is. And hopefully people saw from the team we selected and how we went about it that we were really serious about it.
