FORMER Portsmouth player Guy Whittingham claimed defeat to Stoke City was hard to take because they "weren't a good side".

The striker-turned-local radio pundit, pictured, saw Portsmouth lose at Fratton Park for the second time in five days.
But while he was impressed with their first opponents, Coventry, he thought it took Pompey being poor for Stoke to win on Saturday.
