Eccleshall see off top-flight sides to take T20 honours

ECCLESHALL were crowned NSSCL Twenty20 Cup winners after seeing off Hem Heath in the final.

Premier B outfit Eccleshall had seen off topflight Stone SP in their semifinal, while Hem Heath defeated fellow Premier A side Meakins.

But it was Eccleshall who walked away with the silverware after a nine-run victory in the showpiece under the lights at Meakins.

Eccleshall managed to find their way to 167-7 from their allocation, in which Andrew Calvert top-scored with 51.

Calvert's knock contained six fours and two sixes, while Deklan Binnington plundered three fours and four maximums in his 41.
